Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients within a corrections health setting, under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration according to policy.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and promptly report changes to the supervising clinician.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine treatments as ordered; support activities of daily living as appropriate.
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards; document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support care plans and ensure quality, compliant care delivery.

Requirements
- Active Practical Nurse license in North Carolina.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts and adapt to a corrections health setting.
- Experience in long-term care or correctional health settings preferred.
- Willingness to travel for a 4-week temporary assignment starting 08/24/2026.
