Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in Belen, New Mexico. Start on 08/01/2026 for an 8-week travel temporary assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift schedule is 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30). Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This local assignment is available under a travel staffing arrangement.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per plan of care, including monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
- Observe and document residents’ conditions, vital signs, and changes; report promptly to the supervising nurse.
- Perform routine nursing procedures, wound care, and dressing changes as directed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record; ensure completeness of documentation.
- Collaborate with RNs, fellow LPNs, and interdisciplinary team members to implement and adjust care plans.

Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to work the night shift and meet assignment schedule requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with charting and team collaboration.
- Compassionate patient care approach and commitment to resident safety and dignity.
