Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care, Silver City, New Mexico. Start date August 1, 2026 for an 8-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Long Term Care – Nursing Home. Weekly pay range: $858 per week to $898 per week. Local candidate only.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration per facility policy and patient care plans.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and promptly report changes to the supervising RN.
- Implement and update care plans; collaborate with RNs and physicians to adjust orders as needed.
- Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living, hydration, nutrition support, and wound care as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure patient safety and infection control practices.
- Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team and with residents and families to support quality care.

Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (eligibility to practice in the applicable state as required).
- Prior experience in a long-term care or geriatric nursing setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
- Local candidate preferred due to local-only assignment requirements.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills to support a safe, resident-centered care environment.
