Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care – Newport, Vermont, United States. This 8-week assignment starts 08/03/2026 and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week. Night shift schedule is 3x12 hours. Weekly pay ranges from $890 to $966. The position is in a skilled nursing, long-term care setting, and local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision of RNs and physicians.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following orders and facility policies.
- Monitor vital signs, assess residents, identify changes in condition, and document findings.
- Perform wound care, injections, and routine nursing procedures as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans; assist with activities of daily living; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain infection control standards, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, and respond to urgent or emergent situations.

Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- LPN diploma or certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ year of long-term care experience preferred.
- Local candidates only; able to work the 12-hour night shift.
