Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care – Franklin, New Hampshire, United States. Travel - temporary assignment beginning 07/20/2026 for a 6-week contract. Weekly pay is $846-$888 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Night shifts with three 12-hour blocks are required, starting around 7:00 pm. This is a local-only assignment; overtime is not guaranteed and every other weekend may be required. Setting: skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor responses, and document in the chart
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall condition; promptly report changes to the supervising RN
- Provide wound care, assistance with activities of daily living, and supportive care
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily routines while maintaining safety and dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams; contribute to care planning and updates
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control practices, and adhere to facility policies

Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license; ability to practice in a long-term care setting
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (start around 7:00 pm)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and delegation skills
- Proficiency with basic charting/electronic records; willingness to learn facility systems
- Ability to perform essential nursing tasks in a skilled nursing setting
