Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care in Florence, AL. Start date: 08/03/2026. This travel - temporary assignment runs for 4 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12 hours, nights. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine assessments and daily care activities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders; document accurately
- Monitor vital signs and resident status; identify changes and communicate with the supervising RN
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; promote safety and dignity
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, charts, and handoffs; respond to emergencies per policy
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and privacy regulations; contribute to a supportive team environment

Requirements
- Active LPN license in Alabama (in good standing)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and commit to 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to pass standard background check and drug screen
