Licensed Practical Nurse (Long Term Care) for a travel assignment in a corrections health care setting in Harvest, Alabama, United States. Start date 07/27/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to policy and physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and report changes promptly to the supervising clinician.
- Provide wound care, dressings, injections, and other standard nursing procedures as appropriate.
- Assist with activities of daily living while maintaining safety, dignity, and privacy for individuals in a corrections setting.
- Document care accurately in medical records; communicate clearly with the health care team to coordinate care.
- Respond to clinical alarms and emergencies per established protocols; collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to manage patient needs.

Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing (Alabama) or eligible for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Prior nursing experience in long-term care or corrections settings preferred.
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and meet guaranteed hours.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings and obtain required clearances for work in a corrections environment.
