Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care, Waterloo, NY. This travel assignment starts on 06/30/2026 and runs for 14 weeks in a skilled nursing setting. The role offers a weekly pay range of $1,324 to $1,370 for a 5x8 Night shift. This is a travel - temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for adult and geriatric residents under supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial status and communicate findings to the RN and Interdisciplinary Team
- Contribute to a developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive plan of care reflecting nursing diagnoses and interventions; involve the resident and family
- Reassess resident outcomes and revise the plan of care as needed; refer for referrals to ensure comprehensive care
- Collaborate with the resident/family and Interdisciplinary Team to promote a safe, satisfying care environment
- Maintain current knowledge and competency through continuing education and in-service programs; provide mentorship or orientation to staff as appropriate

Requirements
- Active New York LPN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or RQI acceptable)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Ability to work nights; weekends and holidays required
- LPN diploma or certificate from an approved program
- Demonstrated ability to care for geriatric residents and work within a skilled nursing environment
