Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care, Claremont, NH, United States. This travel temporary assignment starts 07/21/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,534 to $1,663. There are no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 8 hours, evenings (5x8), with every-other-weekend coverage. The role is in a long-term care (LTC – Nursing Home) setting.

Responsibilities
- Observe residents continuously for changes in mental and physical well-being; communicate pertinent observations to the Supervisor; provide detailed handoffs to the on-coming shift
- Accurately receive, transcribe, and execute physician orders; administer medications and treatments; documentation in MAR/TAR and electronic systems; manage unit pharmaceuticals
- Supervise LNAs, assign resident care tasks within scope of practice, support direct-care staff, and reinforce infection control practices
- Accompany the physician on rounds on the assigned unit(s) to address medical needs and facilitate 60-day reviews
- Administer oxygen per guidelines; perform gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings per policy; perform wound care and support wound vac knowledge
- Manage unit duties (appointments, therapy schedules, ambulation lists, vitals, nutrition documentation); complete 24-hour unit reports and communicate with the Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor about resident issues
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Hampshire; BLS (AHA) certification; IV certification required or willing to obtain during onboarding
- Minimum 3 years of current nursing experience within the last 6 months
- Willingness to float to units with experienced staff; own transportation required due to rural location; non-local candidates only (locals within 50 miles not accepted)
- Covid-19 vaccination required; declinations/exemptions are not accepted
- RTO (time off) requests must be listed at submission and cannot exceed 5 days (holidays not approved)
- Previous travel experience and rural/small-facility experience are highly preferred
