Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a long-term care focus is invited to take a travel assignment in a skilled nursing setting. This position starts on 06/05/2026 and runs for 12 weeks. The role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule (19:00–07:30). Weekly pay ranges from $1,407 to $1,529. The assignment is in a skilled nursing facility and is managed as a travel temporary placement.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, and responses to interventions; report changes promptly
- Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings in the chart
- Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort measures
- Participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team; communicate clearly with RNs, physicians, and family as needed
- Maintain infection control and safe patient handling practices; respond to emergencies per facility protocol

Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work night shift in a long-term care environment
- Current ability to meet state regulatory requirements and perform duties in this setting
