Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a 3-week travel assignment in long-term care, located in Silver City, New Mexico. Start date: 06/01/2026. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days with a rotating schedule (06:00–18:30). Local-only assignment. Weekly pay: $692-$718. This temporary position is in a LTC - Nursing Home setting and is contracted through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Posting date: 05/12/2026; valid through 06/23/2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting per plan of care and facility policies
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments within scope of practice, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with the care team, including CNAs and RNs, to ensure resident safety and continuity of care
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide essential comfort and support
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, respond to emergencies per protocol, and maintain accurate charting
- Uphold infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards in all interactions

Requirements
- Active LPN license (New Mexico) in good standing (or licensure as required for the assignment)
- Education: completion of an approved LPN program; ability to provide verification of education and licensure
- Experience: prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Certification: current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain per facility policy
- Must be able to work in a LTC environment with rotating 12-hour shifts and meet physical demands of the role
