Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a long-term care assignment in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Start date 06/01/2026 for an 11-week contract. Weekly pay range is $661-$699, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12 nights. Work setting: skilled nursing facility in a travel, temporary assignment. This role focuses on delivering bedside nursing care to residents requiring ongoing, facility-based support.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, supporting activities of daily living as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects, documenting per policy and physician orders.
- Monitor resident status, including vital signs, and promptly report changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Document care clearly and accurately, ensure safe medication administration practices, and support proper handoffs during shift changes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, follow infection control practices, and respect resident dignity and privacy.

Requirements
- Current LPN license appropriate for practice in Alabama or eligible for licensure by endorsement
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements for the assignment
