Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care is available for a local travel assignment in Belen, New Mexico. Start date: June 1, 2026. Contract duration: 7 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $752–$778 per week. Shift: three 12.5-hour day shifts (6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a travel - temporary assignment with local-only eligibility.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor and document responses.
- Perform basic nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient condition.
- Promote safety, infection control, and comfort; respond promptly to call bells and changes in patient status.
- Document care provided and updates to care plans in the electronic medical record; communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support activities of daily living, wound care, and routine nursing tasks as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- CPR certification required
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, adult long-term care environment and to cover three 12.5-hour day shifts per week
- Local candidate status only; must be able to work within the specified local area
