Traveling Journeyman Electrician

Full-Time | Travel Required | Residential Solar

At SpartanX, growth starts with great electricians. We're looking for experienced Traveling Electricians to support residential solar installations in expanding markets across the country.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians who enjoy traveling, working in new locations, and playing a key role in launching new markets. You'll work alongside installation teams to complete high-quality electrical work while helping establish operations in areas where SpartanX is growing.

What You'll Do

• Perform electrical work for residential solar installations
• Install service equipment, disconnects, inverters, and related electrical components
• Complete service panel upgrades and electrical modifications as needed
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in the field
• Perform final electrical inspections and quality checks before project completion
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updates
• Partner with Install Managers and field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Represent SpartanX professionally while interacting with homeowners

What We're Looking For

• Journeyman Electrician license preferred
• Residential electrical experience required
• Residential solar experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with service upgrades, load-side and supply-side connections, and residential electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical plans and diagrams
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel extensively and work in multiple states
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on rooftops when necessary
