Certified Sleep Tech (Polysomnographer) – Burlington, Vermont, US. This travel assignment in a hospital-based sleep program starts 07/23/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,434 to $1,494. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. Licensure must be on file at submission; BLS certification is required. Education and experience should align with a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program, with strong PSG skills and Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnography studies and related sleep tests, monitoring patients for procedural accuracy and safety
- Score sleep studies using standard criteria, with accurate data acquisition and artifact management
- Troubleshoot and maintain polysomnography equipment, ensuring proper sensor montage and calibration
- Assist with mask fittings, patient education, and comfort to support successful sleep study outcomes
- Document findings and patient data in the Epic EMR; communicate results to the sleep medicine team
- Manage patient flow during overnight studies and adhere to hospital policies and sleep-lab protocols
Requirements
- License: license on file at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree acceptable; science-focused and/or successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program
- Experience: minimum 2 years of sleep-technologist experience; 3–5 years highly preferred
- Specialty/Skills: proficient PSG technologist with sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, bedside manner, mask fittings, and patient education
- EMR: Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Logistics: reliable transportation required; area has limited public transit; personal or rental vehicle recommended; winter driving may require all-season or snow tires
- Scheduling: prior travel or teaching-hospital experience not required but preferred; weekend availability required; no block schedules
