Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Zzz Specialty is needed for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting in Butte, Montana. Start date is 06/22/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $1,235 to $1,299 per week. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week, with typical weeks reaching around 40 hours. Shift is days.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions and co-treat under supervision of the OT to residents.
- Assess resident functional abilities and contribute to development and modification of individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve activities of daily living, motor function, and cognitive skills; select and adapt equipment as prescribed.
- Document progress notes, update treatment plans, and maintain accurate resident records in the charting system.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, including the supervising OT, nursing staff, and other providers, to support resident goals and discharge planning.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and proper use/maintenance of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.

Requirements
- Active COTA license in Montana or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Montana.
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (Associate degree).
- Relevant experience in geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Ability to perform duties in a skilled nursing facility setting and work a day shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and willingness to relocate to the duty location for the contract period.
