Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Zzz Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant specialty is needed for a travel assignment in Billings, Montana. Start date: 06/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,368–$1,430 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Responsibilities
- Deliver COTA services under supervision, following the plan of care for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Implement and document therapeutic interventions, including activities of daily living, range of motion, strength training, gait training, and therapeutic exercise.
- Monitor resident progress, adjust activities as appropriate, and communicate changes to the supervising OT and care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and ensure compliance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with the physical therapist and nursing staff to support discharge planning and patient safety.
- Ensure safe, clean, and organized treatment spaces while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (Montana) or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Specialty credential: Zzz Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in rehabilitation or geriatric care preferred; experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work the Days shift in a travel assignment and comply with facility policies and procedures.
