Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity in a skilled nursing setting located in Lanham, Maryland. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,517–$1,653 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, five days per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to residents under supervision per plan of care, focusing on functional independence and daily activities.
- Assess residents’ functional abilities and contribute to ongoing evaluation processes; document findings and progress.
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions addressing activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, and cognitive-motor tasks as appropriate.
- Modify treatment plans and communicate progress with the supervising therapist; ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Promote resident safety, implement adaptive equipment training, and support discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential; active Maryland licensure or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
- Availability to begin on 06/08/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a travel healthcare role with a standard daytime schedule.
- Strong documentation practices and reliability in charting and communication.
