Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Acute Care. This travel temporary assignment is in Glendive, Montana, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 and duration 13 weeks. You will provide direct therapy services as part of a licensed rehab team, typically working days with 36 hours guaranteed per week in a long-term care / nursing home setting. The weekly pay range for this assignment is $2,119–$2,187, and compensation and hours will be confirmed during onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Provide OT-focused treatment to improve independence in activities of daily living, mobility, and functional tasks for residents.
- Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans under supervision; adapt as progress is observed.
- Conduct, document, and communicate session notes, progress toward goals, and any concerns to supervising OT.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, social work, and therapies aides) to coordinate care.
- Promote safety and proper use of assistive devices; assess and modify equipment as needed; support fall prevention.
- Assist with discharge planning, community referrals, and strategies for ongoing therapy post-hospitalization or post-visit.
- Collect and contribute data for quality improvement and outcome tracking as directed.

Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential; Montana licensure eligibility or licensure as required by state for practice.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with older adults and residents with chronic conditions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment; ability to work day shift.
- Basic computer literacy and electronic medical record documentation experience.
