Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Acute Care, Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistant services under supervision, contributing to rehabilitation goals for patients in an acute care rehabilitation context.
- Assist with patient evaluations, treatment plan implementation, therapeutic activities, ADL training, and mobility interventions.
- Monitor patient progress, document responses, and communicate updates to the supervising OT and rehab team.
- Support discharge planning and family/caregiver education to promote continuity of care.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in New Mexico
- Relevant experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to work the 5x8 day schedule and the 08:00–16:30 shift
- Eligibility for a travel assignment and ability to relocate or commute to the assignment location as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
