This travel - temporary assignment requires ARRT or RCIS, a Texas radiologic license, and professional certification in ACLS and BLS, with a minimum of one year in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases. The role includes on-call duties and weekend scheduling as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and/or electrophysiology studies.
- Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff to maximize utilization of individual and group capabilities; collaborate with the intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care.
- Assist with patient identification, preparation and draping, and room setup for routine procedures; review physician orders and select equipment per protocols to ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and arrange repairs to keep equipment operable; instruct colleagues as needed.
- On-call rotating after-hours duties with Sunday rotation; weekend scheduling as determined by the facility; maintain an efficient workflow to minimize delays.
- Stay current on developments in cardiovascular technology by pursuing continuing education and applying best practices to daily work; ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Requirements
- State of TX Medical Radiologic License required
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases (required)
- Ability to work in a hospital cath lab setting and participate in travel assignment
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
