Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required. Must possess current Michigan licensure or limited licensure (LLPC/LPC, LLMSW/LMSW, or TLLP/LLP/LP), a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and at least one year of experience working with children and families in a behavioral health or human services setting.

Travel within the assigned service area is required to conduct assessments and provide services to children and families.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for children and families impacted by trauma.
  • Administer, score, and interpret clinical assessment tools related to trauma, mental health, development, resilience, coping skills, and family functioning.
  • Apply knowledge of child development and the impact of trauma on developmental and behavioral functioning.
  • Establish and maintain culturally responsive therapeutic relationships with individuals and families.
  • Develop treatment recommendations, referrals, and service plans based on assessment findings.
  • Evaluate emotional, behavioral, psychosocial, and developmental needs and provide differential diagnoses when appropriate.
  • Assess the impact of trauma, chronic illness, disability, and co-occurring conditions on overall functioning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of assessment tools and clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, interdisciplinary collaboration, and team meetings.
  • Maintain compliance with trauma-informed care principles, accreditation standards, funder requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Travel within the assigned service area to conduct assessments and provide related services.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of clinical information and records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of program and organizational goals.
