As an Individualized Health Services (IHS) team member you will provide critical support to enable resident independence and quality of life.

Charter House Senior Living Community is looking for an individual to transport residents/clients to a variety of appointments in a safe and efficient manner. Your responsibilities as a transporter include completing resident/client escort assignment in a timely manner, and interacting politely and professionally with residents/clients, family members, and medical center staff.

*This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications

  • Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and human relation skills to interact with residents/clients, family members, and staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
  • Varied hours, almost always during the day shift.

International Degrees

  • A detailed equivalency evaluation is required, demonstrating a U.S. equivalent degree.
  • Evaluation must be completed from an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) ( www.naces.org) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) ( www.aice-eval.org).
