Job Description

Responsible for inventory control, transportation, and HR items as needed. Individual must be able to multitask and interact well with individuals both inside and outside the company. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

  • Cover the bus daily and vacation coverage
  • Enter E Shipper info on spreadsheet and make adjustments in system
  • Work on Maximo Fuel processing, invoicing etc.
  • Provide routing function backup
  • Perform other Inventory Control duties as needed for damage and audits
  • Input employee schedule weekly
  • Manage MyTime, missed punches, attendance, driver hours, and run reports
  • Send out performance excellence discussions and birthdays/anniversaries cards; confirm completion of items
  • Provide backup assistance for employees with Fresh Start, MyTime, etc.
  • Serve as backup for associate relations manager (ARM) when needed
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and HR events
  • Maintain invoicing, including setting up vendors, confirming expense accuracy, and processing checks and invoices
  • Set up DOT physicals
  • Enter arrival times of routes in system
  • Create team wear orders
  • Receive and account for fuel in system
  • Send out tolls to be paid
  • Work on special projects as requested
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
  • Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum

  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Intermediate time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be self- motivated and able to work independently
