The Temporary Transportation Technician will ensure the safe transportation of residents to and from the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (RCRNC) and Assisted Living Community for approved medical appointments and activities at pre-determined locations.
We are committed to providing preventative and restorative care to all residents and clients here at Rockingham County. We want our residents to feel safe, comfortable, and supported in all aspects of their lives to include not only physical, but also emotional, social, spiritual, environmental, and intellectual well-being. The Temporary Transportation Technician is a vital part of our cohesive team that transports residents to and from medical appointments and other activities in a safe and comfortable manner through answering residents calls for assistance, assisting with the mobility of residents by utilizing appropriate assistive devices, along with the use of oxygen tanks, AED, and CPR equipment. The Transportation Technician also reports and informs licensed personnel of any changes in the resident’s condition, including supply and equipment needs. Further, the Transportation Technician maintains a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment for residents by maintaining a clean vehicle and offering support/comfort.
Mandatory post offer physical, drug testing, motor vehicle check, and road testing for new hire. Criminal records check required.
