Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dependable, organized, and team-oriented Transportation Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our transportation services.
The Transportation Supervisor provides leadership and operational oversight to ensure clients receive safe, reliable, timely, and professional transportation. This role supervises drivers, coordinates transportation schedules and requests, develops efficient routes, supports driver training, maintains required documentation, and ensures compliance with organizational, safety, and regulatory standards.

Provide day-to-day supervision, direction, and support to transportation staff.
Coordinate driver scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for transportation needs.
Assist with the selection, orientation, onboarding, and training of drivers.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support to drivers.
Coordinate transportation requests and communicate with facility staff regarding scheduling and client transportation needs.
Develop efficient transportation routes based on operational needs, locations, and available drivers.
Monitor transportation schedules and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely service.
Promote and model safe, responsible driving practices and adherence to company transportation policies.
Maintain a safe driving record and ensure drivers follow applicable safety requirements.
Complete and maintain required transportation reports, records, and documentation.
Monitor vehicle needs and communicate maintenance or repair concerns appropriately.
Respond appropriately and professionally to emergency, crisis, weather, traffic, and other unexpected situations.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling client and company information.
Attend required departmental and organizational meetings.
Complete all required training as designated by Pyramid Healthcare and applicable accreditation or licensing entities.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Pyramid Healthcare's ethical standards and commitment to quality care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The Transportation Supervisor provides direct supervision and day-to-day leadership to assigned drivers. Responsibilities include assisting with employee selection and onboarding, coordinating schedules, providing training and coaching, monitoring performance, addressing operational concerns, and ensuring appropriate driver coverage to meet transportation needs.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous supervisory, transportation, healthcare, or related experience preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license required.
Must maintain a safe driving record and meet company requirements for operating organizational vehicles.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear and regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to operate motor vehicles, computers, office equipment, and other technology, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally be required to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or twist.
The position may require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and perform the physical functions necessary to support transportation operations.
The Transportation Supervisor works across behavioral healthcare facilities, office environments, company vehicles, and community settings. Local and/or regional travel may be required to support transportation operations.
The position regularly interacts with clients, drivers, facility staff, and members of the community. The supervisor must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where transportation schedules, client needs, traffic, weather, and other operational circumstances may change throughout the day.
Employees may be exposed to communicable illnesses and emotionally sensitive or challenging situations while performing the essential functions of the position.
