Transportation
The Transportation Standards Engineer provides critical engineering expertise for the MCDOT TIP and MIP (Transportation and Maintenance Improvement Program). The primary role is to assist the Senior Standards and Review Engineer with maintaining engineering standards, construction specifications, and standard details. This is the journey-level class in the registered civil engineering series; incumbents are responsible for complex assignments that require technical proficiency and the exercise of initiative and independent judgment within defined technical and procedural limits.

Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire and have an acceptable driving record.
