JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!
Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while transporting residents on and off designated routes in and outside a private active adult retirement community. This person will be responsible for the safety and welfare of all residents and guests while maintaining compliance with all state and federal laws, community rules and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
Must be able to navigate a large automatic vehicle.
Must be able to learn and enforce critical safety rules.
Must be able to maintain a schedule.
Must be able to interact with residents and their guests in a positive manner in all situations.
Must be able to sit/drive for long periods of time.
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all work areas including tram.
Daily inspection of assigned vehicles to ensure the safety and welfare of residents, guests, and employees.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
High School diploma or GED required.
Travel is primarily local during the business day.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Nest is your Nest!
This is an active position and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level has the potential to be loud.
Ability to lift up to 15lbs
