Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude

This role will support the organization’s transportation and logistics strategy by enabling accurate freight pricing, optimizing distribution and transportation decisions, and delivering actionable supply chain insights. This role partners cross functionally with Sales, Pricing, Distribution, Operations, and Data teams to ensure freight costs are well managed, customer commitments are met, and continuous optimization opportunities are identified and executed.

• Collaborate closely with Distribution team to ensure customers are optimally profiled to the most efficient warehouse locations, while leveraging cost-effective transportation modes.
• Provide ongoing support to the Sales and Pricing teams by responding to new freight requests, addressing logistics-related inquiries, and sharing relevant market and transportation insights.

• Analyze diverse supply chain and transportation data sets to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for optimization and cost savings.

• Manage and execute quarterly freight rate adjustments, with a clear understanding of revenue versus cost impacts.
• Prepare and complete freight proposal requests, ensuring the Pricing team is provided with accurate and comprehensive data to support competitive and profitable pricing decisions.
• Partner with Operations teams to address and resolve logistics and transportation issues in a timely and effective manner.

• University degree or College diploma preferred.
• Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics (Distribution and Transportation) is required.
• Experience in Finance and Pricing would be an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.
