We are looking for a Transportation Scheduler to join our team! The individual in this position will efficiently schedule and input appointments for new and existing clients, communicate with dispatch and office personnel regarding scheduling issues and concerns and maintain appropriate reports, and provide accurate and timely updates to staff and employee personnel pertaining to changes in client capabilities and requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
Schedule appointments with new and existing clients while understanding the medical conditions and identifying special requirements necessary to ensure the highest vehicle safety standards.
Input client data using the current scheduling system.
Participate in regular quality control meetings. Communicate delivery system performance concerns and potential solutions for improvement.
Extract and manage scheduling information in order to place clients on time-efficient schedules.
Cross-train to learn and function in dispatch and operations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and related experience
Excellent administrative, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Relate well with persons with disabilities, employees, contractors and general public
Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office and RouteMatch applications preferred
Have current or able to receive school bus certification
Valid driver’s license
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Compensation $18.50
