Classification: Nonexempt

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Will Vary

Wages: Commensurate with qualifications

The employee is responsible for ordering and receiving parts, ensuring proper data entries are recorded in the system and the organization of the parts areas. Employee will create Repair Orders. Employee will also administer warranty programs and generate necessary documentation for accounts payable and accounts receivable.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Receive/Inspect incoming parts/supplies to verify quantity, item number and ID damaged or unmarked items.
  • Complete process for accepting parts/supplies into inventory and generate Purchase Orders.
  • Operate power equipment as necessary. (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks)
  • Pick up from or deliver parts to vendors when necessary.
  • Assist outside drivers with pick up/delivery of freight.
  • Attach proper ID labels to parts/supplies
  • Maintain inventory (cycle counts, manual counts).
  • Maintain the organization of all parts and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of parts room.
  • Generate Repair Orders.
  • Invoice Repair Orders to Outside Customers and provide billing to Accounting.
  • Responsible for meeting the requirements of various suppliers and manufacturers to properly request the warranty of parts/supplies.
  • Box or crate parts that are to be shipped or stored.
  • Maintain the recycling program.
  • Snow removal.
  • Drive Commercial Motor Vehicles when necessary.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Assist technicians as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Frequent lifting and twisting is required throughout the workday. Heavy lifting may be required. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet physical evaluation requirements. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to eight hours per day. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic computer skills, Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel and, etc.). Demonstrate the mechanical skills necessary to repair equipment. Class A Commercial Drivers’ License with Air Brake endorsement preferred.



Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
