The Transportation Planning Coordinator serves as the primary support resource for Transportation Planning operations. This position is primarily responsible for Truck Builder functions, ensuring efficient trailer utilization, load optimization, and transportation execution. In addition, the role serves as the designated backup for Transportation Coordinator, Router, and Dispatcher positions to ensure uninterrupted transportation operations during vacations, absences, peak periods, and other business needs.
The Transportation Planning Coordinator works closely with Transportation, Warehouse, and Sales teams to support operational efficiency, customer service, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports directly to the Routing Manager.

The Transportation Planning Coordinator provides operational continuity and planning support for the Transportation Department. This role would primary assist the Truck Builders and designated backup for Transportation Coordinator, Router, and Dispatcher functions, this position plays a critical role in maintaining transportation efficiency, service levels, load optimization, and customer satisfaction while supporting the overall goals of the transportation operation.
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $18.18/hour and $30.30/hour.
As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation.
