Modivcare is looking for an experienced Transportation Network Manager I to join our team. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to support the growth and enhancement of the Transportation Provider network in response to evolving transportation service needs. This role focuses on recruiting new transportation providers, supporting the contracting process, and developing positive, growth-oriented relationships within the existing provider network.

  • Cultivates relationships and identifies growth opportunities with national transportation providers, contributing to strategic plans for securing contracts.

  • Supports the implementation of transportation network growth and development plans in collaboration with the capacity and planning team.

  • Standardizes capacity models to improve efficiency within the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider network.

  • Recruits transportation providers and explores growth opportunities within the existing network.

  • Collaborates with community-based organizations to establish partnerships and explore alternative transportation options.

  • Contributes to responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and may participate in presentations.

  • Assists in developing strategic business recommendations related to transportation network development, particularly in response to RFPs.

  • Participates in negotiations with transportation providers and helps maintain positive relationships with business partners.

  • Facilitates cross-departmental communication regarding transportation network development opportunities and the status of action plans.

  • Supports market research to understand transportation dynamics, client requirements, and local government regulations.

  • Contributes to strategies that support the growth and quality of the transportation provider network to meet contractual obligations and customer expectations.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand and contribute to individual and team growth and revenue goals.

  • Assists in developing procedures and policies for evaluating contract agreements, negotiating terms and rates, and resolving transportation contract needs.

  • Helps identify key providers and supports the team in maintaining relationships with transportation providers and outside agencies relevant to network health and provider business support.

  • Supports the timely engagement of new transportation providers and promptly addresses provider concerns and inquiries.

  • Uses basic analytics to evaluate network costs and performance, supporting cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Assists in resolving provider escalations in a timely manner.

  • Uses data insights to help develop basic metrics for transportation provider service quality and customer satisfaction, contributing to continuous network improvement.

  • Supports cross-functional projects and initiatives by contributing to key milestones, project plans, and policy development.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Ten (10) plus years of experience in account management, NEMT, and/or transportation.

  • One (1) plus years of experience in medical, specialty, and/or disability transportation management.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Government contracting experience strongly preferred.

  • Salesforce experience preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Systems.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, set direction, and establish departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Ability to influence departmental policies, practices, and procedures with a significant impact on the organization.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of NEMT and working with transportation providers.

  • Ability to foster ownership and commitment through effective influence.

  • Results-oriented and customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and dynamic environments.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to proactively engage and influence stakeholders and build strong relationships for effective collaboration.

  • Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to objectively review work, apply past experiences, and seek input from trusted partners to make informed decisions.

  • Ability to create an inclusive environment for communication, tailor messages to the audience, remain calm during escalated situations, and share information transparently.

  • Openness to change with the ability to support change initiatives, innovate, and solve problems.

  • Commitment to continuous learning with a deep understanding of the profession and the ability to guide others in critical thinking and take calculated risks to support transformation.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to consider cross-functional objectives, connect short-term initiatives to long-term strategies, and understand the organization’s products, services, and competitive landscape.

  • Ability to consistently model organizational values and support ethical decision-making and behavior.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Salary: $111,000.00 - $114,000.00 Annual

This position is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
