Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Brazil operates one of the most complex and fast-growing
Middle Mile networks in Latin America. Our network connects Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers,
Inbound Cross-Docks (IXD) and Delivery Stations across the country — moving millions of packages
every week through surface, air and multimodal transportation lanes. Our leaders navigate this complexity with data-driven rigor, operational discipline, and a relentless focus on the customer promise. In ATS Brazil, we are building the next generation of inbound surface operations — encompassing Transshipment, IXD (Inbound Cross-Dock) and We Pay. This leader will oversees daily operations.

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a transportation IB manager to manage daily operations within ATS Brazil, based at GRU8 in Cajamar, São Paulo. This is a leadership role with the ownership of IB execution and operations — encompassing Transshipment, IXD and WePay.
The Inbound mile is a critical and rapidly evolving pillar of ATS Brazil. The manager in this role will be responsible for solving the complex transportation challenges daily basis, such as: balancing
inbound demand against constrained capacity, ensuring carrier safety and regulatory compliance, protecting the customer experience . This role requires a leader who operates at both the strategic and tactical level — contributing to the longer-term ATS Brazil direction while remaining close enough to the details to drive accountability for execution quality, safety outcomes, and network performance.

A day in the life
Cooperate to set multi-year IB Transportation strategy for ATS Brazil, setting the direction for Transshipment, IXD, WePay programs and translating long-term network objectives into actionable, sequenced annual operating plans, Lead strategic planning processes (OP1/OP2) for inbound operations, articulating resource requirements, investment priorities, and headcount plans in alignment with ATS Brazil and WW ATS
leadership. Run the operation within several stakeholders, through structured execution mechanisms — ensuring that 3-year roadmap objectives cascade into quarterly milestones, weekly team priorities, and individual accountability frameworks. Serve as the voice of IB operations in operational forums, presenting business reviews, strategic proposals, and risk assessments to leadership. Influence technology and product roadmaps by identifying automation and tooling opportunities (capacity management, demand forecasting, shipment visibility) that enable the inbound program to scale.

Basic Qualifications


- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience in managing teams
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading large teams/operations, including a salaried/hourly workforce, in a rapidly changing customer service, manufacturing, production or distribution environment
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese & English
- Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
- Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge
