Summary

The Transportation Financial Specialist 2 in this position reports to the Equipment Division in Upshur County. The selected applicant performs full-performance highly specialized work under limited supervision. Position requires the use of independent judgement in the interpretation and adaptation of policies and guidelines. This includes overseeing the EZ-Pass Transponder System for the West Virginia Division of Highways. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

**Preference may be given to Candidates with these qualifications**

TRAINING/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Substitution: Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, budget, or business may be substituted for the required training/education through an established formula.

EXPERIENCE:

• Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or related experience.
• Substitution: Successful completion of graduate coursework from a regionally accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience through an established formula.

Promotional Only: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as a Transportation Financial Specialist 1.
