Transportation Escort

At RYZE West, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Transportation Escort, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents to various healthcare appointments and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents of the facility, including scheduling and logistics
• Ensure the proper maintenance of all facility vehicles to ensure safe and reliable transportation
• Represent the facility in a professional manner when dealing with medical providers and other stakeholders
• Make all appointments for patients and maintain a calendar of appointments
• Maintain required logs of each transport and for each vehicle
• Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on any vehicle driven to transport residents
• Establish and maintain a maintenance schedule for each vehicle used in transports
• Assist in maintaining a good working relationship with the community, hospital, and other healthcare facilities and agencies
• Take specimens and other items to the hospital or medical clinic as requested
• Make purchases from local suppliers as requested by facility staff
• Follow proper infection control practices and observe for resident safety when in resident care areas
• Adhere to all facility and department safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• No convictions for abuse, neglect, or mistreatment or for misappropriation of property
• Prompt and regular attendance
