Summary

The Transportation Engineering Technician Trainee will operate within the Geospatial Unit of the Right of Way Division, with a primary reporting location in Mercer County, WV. The successful applicant serves in a training capacity, learning basic concepts of highway, bridge construction and maintenance while performing introductory surveying and mapping tasks. Participates in a training program requiring 180 Technician Development Hours. Performs other related duties as required.

TRAINING/EDUCATION

• High school graduation or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience is required. This is the entry level classification in this series.
