Job Description

Join Nilfisk as a Transportation Coordinator

Do you thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders across international supply chains? As a Transportation Coordinator at our Nagykanizsa plant, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and timely execution of inbound transportation activities while supporting operational excellence across our logistics network.

You will collaborate closely with suppliers, carriers, customs partners, and internal teams to manage transportation processes, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate logistics administration.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international inbound transportation activities between suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Manage the end-to-end administration of inbound shipments.
  • Review, validate, and approve transportation invoices in SAP.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, purchasing teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve transportation-related issues.
  • Handle EKAER registration and administration, as well as customs-related documentation.
  • Ensure transportation and delivery deadlines are met in line with operational requirements.
  • Support KPI tracking and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Request and evaluate quotations for express transports.
  • Manage additional transportation cost administration and invoice processing.
  • Coordinate customs clearance activities for international shipments.
  • Support international transportation tenders through data collection and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and internal procedures.

What You Bring

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational role.
  • Knowledge of international transportation processes and customs administration.
  • Experience handling transport documentation and invoices.
  • Knowledge of EKAER administration is an advantage.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
