The Transportation Attendant operates/drives company vehicles while transporting guest safely about the island at designated scheduled times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Transportation Attendant is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Assists visitors on and off the tram in a safe manner, mindful of guests with special needs always.
Liaise with the information booth and greet guests at the welcome center fountain with a smile.
Politely explains where a particular tour is going prior to guests getting on the tram.
Keeping the correct count of all guests that enters and exits the tram with proof of ticket.
Drives tram as directed only on designated routes at designated schedule in a safe manner.
Pick up and drop off guests to multiple locations.
Maintains cleanliness of tram.
Reports all tram mechanical problems and maintenance issues to supervisor/manager.
Extends courteous, efficient service to all guests, thanks them for their visit and invites them to return.
End of day tram is parked in the correct designated area.
Keeps VHF radio on and drives at the correct speed limit.
Uphold environmental policies.
Assists the Transportation Supervisor with tasks as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adheres to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employee’s control (list not exhaustive).
