About Horse Technologies

Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Analyze, plan, and optimize the best transport routes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Coordinate and assign transports. Supervise daily transportation operations (scope worldwide), ensuring timely and efficient product delivery and budget respect.

• Resolve operational and logistical problems effectively and promptly.

• Handle emergency transport. Develop contingency plans to address emergency situations or disruptions in the supply chain.

• Stay updated on changes in regulations and ensure operational compliance and safety.

• Management of third parties in contact with suppliers and carriers.

• Controlling the budget, studying transport costs and their possible variations.

• To carry out monitoring, maintenance, and analysis reports, with which to evaluate its performance.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in logistics processes and propose solutions to increase operational efficiency without compromising service quality.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

• Good level of English (B2 as a minimum is required). French language is valuable.

• Certifications in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain management.

• Relevant experience in transportation management or a related field (min 2 year). Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.

• Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of transporting goods in the industry (automotive is valuable).

• Knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance standards, and international shipping requirements is essential.

• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS/SAP) is desirable.

• Knowledge of relevant software and tools.
