Viking Travel Care is looking to strengthen our Transport Team with experienced Transport&RepatriationSpecialists

We are seeking a structured, proactive, and hands-on professional with experience in travel insurance assistance, case management, travel operations, or medical transport coordination. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team and play a key role in arranging medical repatriations and travel solutions for customers worldwide.

In this role, you will work closely with Assistance Coordinators, medical providers, airlines, and travel partners to coordinate medical repatriations, air ambulance transports, assisted travel, and complex travel itineraries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all types of cases, ranging from simple to highly complex

  • Coordinate medical transport cases and repatriations, including air ambulance transports

  • Arrange flights and manage complex travel itineraries

  • Handle ticketing related to medical transports and assisted travel requests, including WCHR, stretcher cases, and other special service requests

  • Coordinate with airlines, travel partners, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders

  • Provide support, guidance, and knowledge sharing to colleagues

  • Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective travel arrangements

  • Follow operational procedures, quality standards, and internal guidelines

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience within a travel agency, airline, travel assistance company, or ticketing environment

  • Strong understanding of ticketing systems and travel industry terminology

  • Experience handling complex bookings and last-minute changes

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Knowledge of a Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) is considered a strong advantage

  • Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
