Are you a highly organised and proactive transport professional looking to join a leading civil contractor with a strong pipeline of work and real opportunities for growth?

We are looking for a Transport Scheduler to join our Fulton Hogan team, supporting our Asphalt and Quarries operations across Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in coordinating truck movements, meeting customer requirements and driving fleet performance across a fast-paced operational environment.

Working closely with operations, production, drivers, subcontractors and customers, you will be responsible for the effective scheduling of trucks to ensure service delivery, fleet utilisation, cost efficiency and compliance with all relevant safety and transport requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to build your experience in a key operational function, supported by a strong team and a business committed to development and continuous improvement.

As a Transport Scheduler, you will:

• Schedule and coordinate truck movements across Asphalt and Quarries operations to meet customer delivery requirements
• Optimise fleet utilisation and improve operational efficiency across internal and subcontracted fleet
• Liaise closely with production teams, drivers, subcontractors and customers to ensure timely and effective delivery outcomes
• Monitor daily transport activities and respond quickly to changes in demand, production or site conditions
• Manage transport costs by planning efficiently, minimising downtime and reducing non-productive fleet movements
• Ensure transport scheduling is completed in line with fatigue management, mass management, Chain of Responsibility and other compliance obligations
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external carriers to ensure consistent service delivery

You are an experienced scheduler or transport coordinator who thrives in a fast-moving operational environment. You have strong planning skills, good commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with operational efficiency. You are calm under pressure, solutions-focused and know how to keep multiple moving parts on track.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in transport scheduling, logistics coordination or fleet operations
• Strong understanding of transport operations in a production, construction, asphalt, quarry or heavy vehicle environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and changing daily demands
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with drivers, plant teams, customers and subcontractors
• A focus on cost control, service delivery and operational efficiency
• Sound understanding of transport compliance requirements, including fatigue and Chain of Responsibility obligations
• Strong administrative and system skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
• A proactive, team-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety
