Transport Refrigeration Service Technician

Location: Davenport, IA
Company: Interstate Power Systems
Pay: $30.00–$43.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time

Interstate Power Systems is seeking an experienced Transport Refrigeration Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Carrier Transicold, Thermo King, and APU systems for over-the-road trucks and trailers.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair Carrier and Thermo King refrigeration units
• Service and troubleshoot APUs, diesel engines, electrical, and climate control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Utilize diagnostic software and OEM troubleshooting tools
• Repair electrical, refrigeration, and control system components
• Document repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of transport refrigeration experience
• Strong Carrier and Thermo King diagnostic and repair skills
• Experience working on APUs
• Knowledge of diesel, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
• EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
