The Opportunity

Join our global Supply Chain team at Hitachi Energy. You will lead outbound shipment operations, ensuring on-time delivery and full compliance with transport regulations. This role gives you real impact on logistics performance across multiple regions. You will grow your expertise in transportation planning, freight settlement, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment.

How you'll make an impact

  • Plan transport routes and select the right mode of transport for each shipment.
  • Confirm carrier availability and ensure compliance with assigned lanes.
  • Create and manage freight orders in the transportation management system.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers during execution.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve issues proactively.
  • Prepare transportation paperwork and export documentation.
  • Review freight invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records including costs and claims.
  • Track key indicators such as on-time pickup, on-time delivery, and service quality.
  • Support continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.

Your background

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation (inbound and/or outbound).
  • Advanced English required.
  • Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and ocean/air providers.
  • Strong ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems.
