Nestlé is currently looking for a Transport Optimizer (transport planner). You will be responsible for:

  • Drive transportation efficiency by optimizing vehicle utilization and minimizing freight expenses, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Perform a variety of roles including load building, transit planning, and other transportation cost-and-service-based optimization activities for Nestle.
  • Monitor and manage all deliveries with carriers to ensure compliance to requirements within agreed criteria and parameters to ensure efficient operations with no additional costs.

A day in the life of a Transport Optimizer

• Generate optimal transportation plans while respecting network and customer service requirements.

• Identify opportunities for load consolidation and transportation optimization.

• Improve vehicle utilization and transport efficiency.

• Collaborate with warehouses, carriers and Supply Chain stakeholders.

• Monitor performance indicators and implement corrective actions.

• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives within logistics operations.

What will make you successful

• Experience in transport planning, logistics or Supply Chain operations.

• Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes.

• Fluency in Spanish (mandatory) and English (nice to have)

• Capacity to work underpressure

• High capability in multitasking

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of transportation cost and service optimization principles.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Continuous improvement mindset and strong organizational skills.
