As Manager Projects & Excellence Transport Materials, you lead the transformation and continuous improvement agenda for ASML’s global transport materials domain. You improve the end-to-end performance of reusable transport materials across suppliers, factories, logistics partners and customer-facing flows. You report to the Manager Transport Materials and operate within the Planning & Delivery (P&D) sector.
You enter a complex and evolving environment in which transport material flows are not yet consistently efficient, transparent or scalable. Your mission is to create the structure, capabilities and governance required to support ASML’s growth, while safeguarding day-to-day material availability.
You professionalize and scale the transport materials supply chain by establishing clear ownership, robust planning processes, effective governance and data-driven decision-making. This includes optimizing pool sizes from a cost, availability and sustainability perspective; securing availability at the point of use; managing external maintenance and repair partners; and driving strategic improvements that reduce waste, increase reuse and strengthen operational control.
The scope is global. Success requires alignment of roles, responsibilities and ways of working across ASML entities, sectors and external partners, while connecting strategic direction to practical execution.
The Manager Projects & Excellence Transport Materials leads the Projects & Excellence team and drives the following key areas of responsibility for the global Transport Materials organization:
You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You are comfortable creating direction in an environment with complex dependencies and incomplete structures, and you translate ambiguity into clear priorities, ownership and action.
Planning & Delivery (P&D) is part of the Operations organization, together with Customer Service, Manufacturing and the supporting functions Corporate Real Estate and Environment, Health & Safety. Within P&D, the Delivery department is responsible for Freight & Customs, Warehousing and Goods Flow Management. This position is part of the Global Warehousing organization.
Transport materials are critical to uninterrupted supplier, factory and customer flows. The domain is characterized by global dependencies, multiple ownership models, external service providers and growing operational complexity. Increasing business volumes and changes in the ASML footprint require scalable processes, global standards and stronger end-to-end control.
The Projects & Excellence team connects strategy, project execution and capability improvement. It provides the structure needed to coordinate related initiatives, strengthen project management capacity and ensure that improvements are sustained across the global transport materials network.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
