Job Description

We are currently seeking a Transport & Logistics Intern, reporting directly to T&L Execution Section Head to join our team based in Rome.

About the role:

The Transport & Logistics Intern will support the Transport & Logistics team in the coordination and execution of domestic and international transportation and shipping activities, ensuring the timely delivery of project materials and compliance with company procedures, customs requirements, and logistics standards.

• Support the planning and coordination of transportation activities for project materials and equipment.
• Assist in monitoring shipments and ensuring compliance with delivery schedules.
• Support the preparation and verification of transport and shipping documentation.
• Assist in coordinating suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers for pick-up and delivery operations.
• Support customs-related activities and import/export documentation processes.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and maintain accurate shipment records and reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of transportation requirements with project needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and data management activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Engineering, Management Engineering, Economics, or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of transportation, shipping, and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and international trade concepts is considered a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Languages

• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage.

Compensation: This position offers a monthly reimbursement of €800 under an extracurricular internship agreement.

Duration: The internship will last six months.
