About The Role

To enable the vision, I enable site performance and service to internal and external customers by coordinating the Transport functions necessary to enable deliveries accurately and efficiently for Customer.

  • Coordinate outbound deliveries and complete all associated transport administration and operational tasks in line with Group expectations.
  • Liaise with 3PL providers and internal stakeholders to communicate delivery updates, manage arrival expectations, and coordinate effective dispatch.
  • Monitor vehicle and delivery compliance, identify non-conformances, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Update daily and weekly DIFOT reports
  • Prepare and collate supporting documentation for claims submissions and maintain the claims tracker.
  • Maintain and update the RSA master store list on a monthly basis.
  • Update cost centre codes for integration files on a monthly basis.
  • Update monthly fuel adjustment report.
  • Weekly IBT transfer/insight report by brand, supporting Merch and IBT cost reporting requirements.
  • Assist in resolving customs-related issues and shipment queries with DHL and other service providers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Freight function, including handling queries, requests, and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and support all New Store and Fixture requests, ensuring effective communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Run daily reports from the in-house WMS, analyze results, provide feedback, and compile summaries of key findings.
  • Prepare agendas and supporting documentation for daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, including identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the Inbound Report, including checking RIFOT, updating FCL and LCL information, and recording notes relating to delays, storage, stops, and other operational exceptions.
  • Support operational projects and perform additional transport and logistics tasks as required.
  • Meet the needs of a global retail business by working outside standard operating hours when necessary.
  • I follow the COG way and am an ambassador for our Brand and Products.
  • I manage my HPAs to deliver the Group strategy, and act within our Frameworks.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with all safety policies/procedures, traffic management, incident reporting, and injury management requirements.

Skills Required for the role

  • Complete Site Induction and understand how a fast-paced warehouse environment operates
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with ability to use these to effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to Detail: analytical with effective problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused: able to gain credibility and respect within the business, building strong relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized: Strong prioritization, planning and reporting
