What’s on offer?
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Allocator to join our Transport Float Operations supporting asphalt laying and civil construction activities across New South Wales based at our Minto site. This is a key role responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of heavy vehicles, floats, low loaders, tilt trays and plant to support daily paving operations. You will work closely with project teams, drivers, supervisors, workshop personnel, and subcontractors to ensure equipment and transport movements are delivered on time and in accordance with legal and safety requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in transport allocation, dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling.
Exposure to heavy haulage, float operations, low loader work, or plant transport would be valued.
Strong knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility, Oversize Overmass routing, fatigue management, mass and dimension requirements, and load restraint obligations.
Experience in asphalt, road surfacing, civil construction, or related industries will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills and confidence working with drivers, supervisors, and subcontract transport providers.
