Mō te tūranga | About the role

Following a major operational systems upgrade, we’re looking for an administration support team member to help keep our Transport, Traffic Management and Road Marking teams running smoothly in Dunedin.

You’ll play a key role supporting new financial and operational systems across the teams, with a strong focus on our Transport system M2X. This is a hands-on admin role where accuracy, organisation and follow-through really matter.

You’ll join a good, solid team that backs each other, keeps things straightforward, and knows when to switch on when it counts. If you take pride in getting the details right, enjoy supporting people, value safety, and like getting the job done properly, you’ll fit right in.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Own and manage the M2X system, making sure information is accurate, up to date and working well for the team.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across our Transport, Traffic Management and Road Marking teams.
  • Support Transport permit applications and help keep the process organised, accurate and on track.
  • Build strong working relationships with dispatchers, site crews and the wider Fulton Hogan team to support good communication and coordination.
  • Pitch in where needed with other administrative duties and team support tasks as required.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

  • Previous experience using M2X or similar systems would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.
  • Knowledge of JDE or similar financial systems would also be helpful, but we can teach the right person.
  • Experience supporting transport permit applications or similar administrative processes.
  • A full Class 1 driver licence.
  • A team-focused, reliable approach, sound judgement, and a strong commitment to getting the job done well.
